It has been a long 5 months since I last contributed to my Investizmo project. Personally, I’m surprised that I even remembered all my passwords to this place.

Not long after my last post in May, the firm where I work decided to cut roughly 10 percent of the workforce. Fortunately, I was not among the casualties and my professional life went on. Unfortunately, the consequence of the cuts resulted in a shift in my priorities. As the work of the departed fell onto my shoulders, Investizmo was pushed to the side.

Now that I am up to speed professionally, I can devote a little bit of time to my favorite pet project. My original vision for this site was to develop it into something of an Engadget for the investment world.

Ambitious? Obviously. Unrealistic? Understandably.

Given my time constrains, I plan on re-positioning Investizmo as more of a personal outlet of my thoughts and frustrations.  If it takes off, great. If it doesn’t, then I can call just call it therapy.
